Pet Visitors
Our Pet Policy
We know that your pets are family, and we want the whole family to enjoy their visit here! Please review our general policy and contact us if you have any questions.
For the Dogs
.
Please complete our Pet Stay Agreement and return prior to your arrival. Please contact Michele at xbarhlodge@yahoo.com to request a copy of the agreement.
We require all canine visitors to be current on their immunizations, including Bordetella (kennel cough) and rabies.
Rabies tags should be worn at all times as well as the visiting pet ID tag we will give you upon arrival.
Please be sure your dog is free of fleas. A flea treatment before arrival is appreciated to help us control those nasty pests.
If your dog likes to join you on the bed or sofa, please throw a critter cover down first to protect the furniture.
Please use a leash whenever your dog is outside or in the common areas of the lodge.
We have containers for waste outside and we ask that you clean up after your dog.
We ask that you be responsible and supervise your dog when visiting.

Other notes for the dogs:
The floors here are hardwood.
Lots of trails for hiking - make sure your human brings hiking shoes.
We have dog beds and bowls for you to use if you don't bring your own.
We keep a good supply of treats here, but if you have a favorite kind, please bring them along.
For the Cats
.
Please complete our Pet Stay Agreement and return prior to your arrival. Please contact Michele at xbarhlodge@yahoo.com to request a copy of the agreement.
We require all feline visitors to be current on their immunizations including rabies.
Rabies tags should be worn at all times, as well as the visiting pet ID tag we'll give you upon arrival.
If you're staying in the Lodge, please keep cat secured in your guest room. There are many hiding places in a Lodge this size, as well as visiting dogs, so your guest room is a safe place. Our window sills are wide and offer a visual delight for most cats.
Please deposit your litter box scoopings in the waste containers outside.
